Having a little problem with my C. When you put the coin and select a record to play to flywheel truns but no action, Motor will run continuously. I have scanned the carriage to K9-K10 record space, left it in scan and did the adjustments on the adjusting screw, but after adjusting I still have the same problem. If I manually flip the trip mechanism it will play the record selected and usually play the other records that were selected on the money that was deposited. When the records were finished playing and the box is waiting and more money is deposited it usually from scratch again the flywheel will turn and you have to manually trip it to play. Any ideas?
Thanks

Johnny,
What "adjustment" did you "do" ? "Adjustments do NOT change on a Seeburg, unless parts are changed.
Sounds like your "safety plunger" is sticking--lack of the correct lubrication, or the use of the wrong lubrication, or just "dirt" build-up is the cause of that.

I adjusted the Clutch 1 adjustment screw according to page 2139 of the service manual. I guess I need to go to page 2145 and do the lubricating and clean as you suggested. What type of lubrication can I use?
Thanks so much for your help

Johnny,
Did you find that adjustment "off" ? As for lube--IMHO, us only SAE 20 Wt. ND oil--NO Grease, of any kind. Ron Rich

Cleaning and lubrication seemed to have fixed the problem
Thanks
