Rockola 445 need a little direction

by Drjeck » Sun Jan 15, 2012 10:21 pm

Hello. Ok. I've cleaned my machine completely and had all motors reconditioned. I reinstalled the gripper and mag motors, checked all fuses, made sure the gripper arm was in tje correct position above the magazine and micro switches aligned per service manual instruction. I switched it on, hit scan, and the mag spun as did the turntable. Switched it over to operate and the gripper arm did it's thing just right....then it blew a fuse. I replaced fuse but now I can't get the mag to spin in scan mode and when I try to manually plan a record in operate mode, I blow a mech fuse.

Any advice?? Thx for considering.

IF, I understand what you are saying correctly, the (smaller then posted --I hope, size ) fuse is blown at record set down. This would indicate one of two things--either the gripper motor is not being turned off at the correct time, or the "cancel hammer coil(s)" is bad--
