Animation motor drive shaft

I'm looking for the small pin/drive shaft that
Goes thru the motor to turn animation cylinder.

I have the working motor, but the shaft is broken
In half.

This is from a 1426 rockola. I'm hoping someone has a
Non-working motor that I could purchase the shaft out of.

I've checked a couple places who've told me they would
Only sell the entire motor.

Also, anyone one have thoughts on how I might join
The broken shaft back together? ( jb weld, super glue?)
To tiny to weld!

Thanks in advance,

George

Hi George,
I do not recall what that looks like, but would it be possible to externally, "sleeve-it"--maybe using some JB weld to hold the sleeve on ? Ron Rich

Hi Ron,

The shaft is aprox. 1 1/4" long, 1/8" diameter.

1/2 the shaft is 1/8" dia., then it drops down in
Dia. To aprox. 1/16?" this is where it is broke.

The sleeve ideas a good one, I might be able to rig
Something, maybe with heat shrink for the sleeve?

Trying to find an alternative to a $60 new motor!
This thing is starting to add up!

Thanx,

George

You want a jukebox?
Fine and dandy..... no problem.
But jukes are not cheap to maintain and own... never were.
Consider inflation, and swallow spit.

Hi Matt,

Your right, I'll probably end up biting the
Bullet and order a new motor.

Ps.. I apologize to any members who read this
Post before I edited myself!
