Ozzie,
Yes--and no-- ONE pin cancel coil, and the pop meter will be joined together at all times via the reversing switch--see the schematic.
I suggest the common (hot) of those be fused with a 1/4 amp SB)

Ron,

I'm getting more familiar and have learned a lot from the manual as well as your guide but I am at a sticking point. Credit/cancel is working fine as is the selector unit. I can make selections and the selector levers move as they should and as soon as one moves the mech starts to scan. It will not stop and play though. I can manually move the trip lever and the mech will stop and play the record but when the song finishes the record will keep turning and is not returned to the rack. At this point, I can manually operate the trip lever again and the record is returned to the rack and the mech will scan again. The pin cancel solenoids are not working nor is the pop meter. I have cleaned and adjusted all of the contacts on the cam switch and the clutch and reset lever and am confident that they are correct. I have re-checked them several times. I have also checked the pins in the contact block and all are moving freely. At this point I think the problem could be with the trip solenoid but I feel the solenoid may be fine and is not getting power when it needs it.

Any advice on what I might check or re-check or a next step?

Thanks, Ozzie

Hi Ozzie,
It sounds as if you are not getting the 25 VAC to the mechanism--check at the WSR plug--follow it on through--
