1955 seeburg 100j help!

by Bvbyrd » Thu Aug 04, 2016 10:57 pm

I recently acquired a really nice all original seeburg 100j . Other than being a little scratchy sounding it has worked great until today. I had the front open while playing a record and I accidentally bumped the service switch to the middle position.....this stopped the mech and obviously playback......now I have no idea how to reset it or get it to return the record. Its stuck and just hums when the switch is returned to the original position. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Brandon,
OK--first determine "What" is humming, then UN-plug the whole phonograph, and let us know what's humming--
