Hello all, I just got a RCA Victor Hi-Fi set, model vht-89 wk. There are a few blips in the internal workings of it but I can work that out. What I really need is the owners manual or just some basic information on the topic. I am new to vinyl so I need quite a bit of help.

Thanks

Records are made of vinyl, yes, so let's call them by their proper name - records, played on a "record player".

As far as operating the unit, it's basically just common sense.
Tone controls, balance, volume, source selection.
AFC and mono are marked as being a "pull on/off" switch.
The RCA "tape" jacks on the rear can be used for a stand-alone CD player, etc.

If the unit hasn't been serviced recently,it's a good idea to procure the services of someone experienced in those RCA Victor chassis, because by now they all need work, including the record changers.

I know.
I've done plenty of them for people.
