Zenith record player model# x560w

I have a Zenith portable stereo phonograph model x560w. I cleaned the pots on the amp and now the left speaker has no sound. I can tap the shaft and get some static from the speaker. Also I can turn the balance control all the way to the left and there is still sound from the right speaker. Does this mean the volume pot is bad? Where would I get a replacement? It worked but had static bad before I sprayed it. Also the right speaker has a his on startup that mostly goes away after a bit. There is a blue 1 mfd 50 volt electrolitic cap connected the the volume pot. Would it be bad?
