Rowe R-92 Program

by DavidD » Wed Jan 14, 2009 4:14 am

How do I program my Rowe R-92 jukebox to save settings when I turn it off? I have to go back to the sevice mode everytime I turn it off. Also is there a way to have a CD player and have the lights blink to the music? I got a CD player and had to unplug lights from the amp to plug in CD. I just bought this Jukebox and not real familiar yet. Thanks

I am assuming that you have an R-92 COMBO ? The Service manual or Service Manual Suppliment should give you the correct wiring for the combo input--I'm not sure, but it seems that the CD input should not go to the Aux out--perhaps I'm wrong, as it has been years since I've seen a working combo--, and if so, you should be able to insert both plugs onto the "pins" at the same time.
On the programming forgetfullness--you need to change the battery in the CCC. Ron Rich

Ron is right, but the trick is to look at the pins where you are pluging the small white connector on to. There could be a dummy plug on those pins, but its close to the printed-circuit board. Unplug the amp and reach in the opening with some needlenose pliers, and pull the fake one out. Now you can push the 2 connectors on the pins, you might need to bend the cables out of the way so the first one slides father down the pins. Change the battery.
