Rowe CDB amplfier

by ds100h » Mon Jun 23, 2014 12:25 am

Hi

Can anyone tell me if these two amps are interchangeable 61024901 61024902?

I assume there was a minor production change is why one ends in 1 and the other ends in 2?

Best
Darrell

Hi Darrell,
"Rowe" part numbers are six digits long--the last two are not a part number, but the version number. 99% of the time, "versions" are interchangeable. Yes--you can interchange those amps--one is lacking the AVC switch, and the other is lacking the "Phono input" section--Ron Rich

Ron

Ama I safe to assume that a 61024903 is also interchangeable and will work in a "Rowe CD 100C"?

Thank you

Darrell

Hi Darrell,
I would never advise anyone to ASSume, anything ! I strive for 100 % accuracy, but I do fail to achieve it, once in a while ! --and, once in a while, things get attributed to me that I don't recall saying  , and sometimes did not say ! However, in this case, I will repeat myself, using slightly different words-- Rowe used all 6 number part numbers--the last two more at the end, represent "versions", which are, in most cases, totally interchangeable.
