Seeburg M100C carriage not moving

by Connie » Sun Mar 06, 2011 10:55 pm

We've acquired a Seeburg Select-O-Matic, M100C jukebox, it works, plays records, but the carriage that plays the records will NOT move when a selection is made. Any/all advice will be appreciated.

Connie,
Don't understand your question--if it "plays records", it has to move ? Do you have the manuals for that machine--if so, please use the terms as per the manual, so we have a chance to help you-- Ron Rich

No manuals. It's stuck in one spot (the carriage) it plays the record, puts it back and then will not move, we have moved it manually (by hand) when that is done it takes that record, plays it, puts it back and does not move again when a selection is made.

Still not enough info--"How" are you moving it, "by hand"--you CAN do LOTSA damage to it that way--
I strongly suggest that you purchase the manual set prior to doing anything else--they are available at: http://www.alwaysjukin.cm and othe r legit sources. I would suggest that you should not purchase it from eBay, as they are usually poor copies, missing info--
I think that my "Seeburg Mechanism Guide" would also be of help to you--contact me off forum if you would like to purchase it directly from me -- ronnnrich@yahoo.com Ron Rich
