I have a new to me micromatic changer with a tall spindle and a black curved tonearm. The change cycle seems to operate well except the arm height is too low when the front of the arm rises to measure the disc size. During this part of the cycle, the arm elevates slightly and then moves back toward center under the stack of records on the spindle, I am new to working with changers of any kind so I am also interested in knowing about any repair people in the New York/ New Jersey area who might be capable of working on this early solid-state console and changer.
