What do you call those tools that look like a screwdriver but have "spanner" heads to turn hard to get at screws in jukebox cabinets. I think I should have some, just in case.
A guy at a local tool supply company, just gave me a blank stare when I tried to describe them

I e-mailed Leon at Jukeboxparts and asked him the same question.
As always he was very helpful, I now know they are called "nut spinners."

Ouch--I think you mean "hex nut/screw driver"--but I'm not sure--Ron Rich

I thought that was what the Americans called some motorists?

Hello Bob,
Leon is correct in the UK we call them Nut Spinners, I still have most of the common sizes but tend to use a a 1/4 drive ratchet driver and use then extensions and sockets. It is far cheaper to keep changing a socket rather than a spinner which is not as tough as a socket.
One of the toolsupplieres that do stock nut spinners is Cromwell Tools, they have outlets in Sheffield and Leeds, but by all accounts 54 UK outlets.
If you go for a set I would get a BA rather than metric if you you intend to work on USA based jukeboxes.
They have the following 7 piece set BA set a Kennedy 7-PCE BA NUT SPINNER SET KEN5569520K.
Check it out on their website

Thanks for that Alan,
I ordered these yesterday,
I think the smallest of the two sizes are the ones I might need, I hope I won't need them that often.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261126200019? ... 1497.l2649

Riley,
You might double check with that seller--he states "SAE sizes", but the photo shows a metric set ?

You are welcome--It's probably of no concern, as seller most likely has both sets--

I thought that, as they were quite specific about the sizes included.
I e-mailed 'em anyway, just in case they sent the wrong set

Hi Bob,
The sizes I always have and still tend to use are 4BA, 3BA & 2BA and the odd larger size.
