Message: Hello I have a very rare stereo console made by soundsign of california (model name tanglewood) made in 60's everything works turn table,8 track,am/fm,and it even records blank 8 tracks my parents had it when i was growing up,so it played alot of beatles connie francis,iron butterfly 8 tracks.it has very good sound for its age which its all american,we inherited it used it for awhile no room must find good home.cabinet still looks good for its age,some stain nicks but can be refinished.we live in santa claus indiana.if intrested I will send photo's want resonable offer.Oh yea it still has the operating manual for maintenance. "



I found the above posting while searching for the name "Tanglewood". I, too, have one of these consoles, well, my father does, and we would like to know more about it. If anyone has any information, or knows where I can get more information, please reply! Thank you!

Well there you go. Two units, so much for being rare. You need to provide the model number which might help. Any unit with an 8-track is seemingly less in value and desire.

I am trying to find a picture of my first stereo and It was a tanglewood. Can you email me a few picutres of the two you have to see if it is the one I used to own>>
