Seeburg G motor cap?

by mb9513 » Thu Oct 08, 2015 5:51 am

Hi all: am finishing a hf100G. it has started to not want to start the motor when the last selection was a B side. I have to grab the turntable and "help" it to start then it runs fine. if the last selection was an A side it works ok. I know that the load mechanism is partially engaged after the last selection. So I have lubricated everything I can get too. if it is just scanning, it works ok as well, reversing with no problem. using the motor stop toggle I started and stopped both directions. that is fine too. so I need some suggestion of if this is a motor cap issue, or am I missing some adjustment, or lubrication point on the mech. I don't have a spare cap so want to be sure before I get another one. thanks in advance. Mark
