Orthophonic

Hi:

I have a VV- 1-70 Victor Victrola Phonograph with a No. 4 soundbox. I am looking for a "true" orthophonic sound from my Orthophonic records. I have limited space, and would like a small Orthophonic machine if possible. I rarely see anything on e-bay for Victor Orthophonic it seems as there must be few of them made.

Where are you located? I've spotted a few smaller Orthophonic models on craigslist over the past few weeks --a couple of Consolettes and one 4-7. There have also been some larger floor models at what I'd consider reasonable prices ---

To do a general search for Victrolas on Craigslist, go to Google, and type in the following exactly as it appears, or simply copy and paste it into the search box:

site:craigslist.org VICTROLA

other options include:

site:craigslist.org Antique Phonograph
site:craigslist.org "record player" antique
site:craigslist.org Orthophonic
site:craigslist.org Antique turntable
