I have a Sure cart. in my Garrard A Mk II changer. All of a sudden I've lost one of the stereo channels. I've switched to a cart. from my other A and it plays fine. Upon inspection of the problem cart. I see no loose wires. Has anyone heard of this happening? I'll admit that the cart. has been in use for 10-15 years, at least. Thanks.

Although rare for Shure and Pickering--they do "just die"--- Ron Rich

Common causes for this is tarnish/corrosion on the silver plated terminals that mate the headshell to the arm itself.
Or tarnish and loosening of the clips on the cartridge pins.
Measure the ohms + to - on each channel.
