I just bought a Rowe 100B jukebox. It's my first jukebox. The spinning disc display on top turns but doesn't light up. Also, the lights in front of the lower speaker grill do not light up. The bulbs are good. I put a volt meter on both locations and there is no power. Does anyone know if there is a fuse somewhere that that regulates power to these lights?

I assume you mean a "CD-100B" jukebox. If so there is a wirewound resistor on the back wall of the jukebox in the amplifier compartment connected to a terminal strip. If this resistor goes open circuit, it kills power to the animation and front door lamps.

Those lamps are wired in series--two per string, so if you have some failures, they all appear to be out--
Install all new lamps, (Number 73's) and see what happens--You do have the plug installed the correct way--don't you ? Voltage should be about 28 VAC across the plug. Ron Rich

Thanks for the replies guys. I replaced the resistor on the back wall today. The lights in the lower panel now work, but the ones in the spinning display still do not. The multimeter reads 28 volts. It appears that the plug only fits one way. I just bought this shroud assembly from a guy on Ebay. He said he tested it out and the lights worked before he shipped it. None of the bulbs looked burnt when I installed it. So, if one bulb is burned out or has a bad connection, none of them will light? Is that correct? I will order some new #73 bulbs. In the meantime, maybe I will remove the shroud assembly again and try reseating the existing bulbs while I wait for the new ones to arrive. Thanks again for all your help.

Hint--leave the shroud out while changing/testing the lamps--they are (series) connected two lamps to each "string"--If I recall correctly--the outer two is one string, then the next inner set and so on-- Ron Rich

The bulbs burn out easily and are especially sensitive to vibration. Replace all of the bulbs.
