Hooray to the new format.

Thanks sentjourn! Yeah, it was definately time for something new. PhonoLand became busier and busier... and we had complaints about the spamfilter, and many questions about things like "how to delete your own message" etc, and some people not being "nice" on the old forum.

I have been looking at phpBB for some time now and I really think it is the solution for those problems. It has a lot of options, (I hope that won't scare people), and is really fun to use! Finally smileys on the forum!!!

Besides that, things like private messaging, receiving an alert when someone replies to your posting etc. are new features I think are really a big improvement. Specially for the phonoland audience.

Unfortunately I could not find a way to import the old messages , so I really hope the users of this website will understand and help start conversations here to get this new forum to life. And like mentioned on the old forum, the old messages will be kept in a searchable archive, and it is my intention to keep that archive in the air for as long as necessary/possible.
