Intro: Maggie Astro-Sonic

Hi Everyone!

I recently got my hands on a Maggie Astro-Sonic and am new to the board. I see alot of postings so far on Magnavox and am excited to learn more about the particular model I have. I hopefully can learn a thing or two and be able to keep it functioning for years to come.

Everything so far seems to be working. I'm able to listen to the radio and it works with my iPod too. It needs a new needle so that's on my shopping list. The only problem is the little tag on the back has all the info rubbed off so I don't have a year, model or anything to help me identify what needle or cartridge (or both) I need.

Hopefully someone knows the model or what I need so I can start listening to some vinyl.
