Rowe cd-100a jukebox cant turn off autoplay

Rowe cd-100a jukebox cant turn off autoplay ,went into service mode , changed autoplay to off , still wont stop playing randomly. How do I perform a master reset to get back to factory default , couldn't find that in manual

There is a difference between "random" play and "autoplay". Random play will play any song selected randomly verses FIFO. (first in first out). Autoplay has to be turned off in more than one place. When in service mode you need to go to (4) for auto play, then you need to look at #0 and #7 in that section. Both will need to be turned off. You really need to go into (2) the attract mode and turn off #0 and #1 as well.

Gregg, At first you said randomly and now your saying continuously. Is it constantly playing whatever it wants?

Gregg, Go to "service mode" hit #6 then #9 then #4 make sure it is set on "0" . Then go back one spot to get to #5 and make sure it is "off" then exit and let me know.

So you will have 694= "0" and 695= off

Someone has set that box up to play continuously until a selection is made I think.
You can also clear any programed free play by Going to Service mode then #4 then #6 to clear them.

If all else fails do the factory reset by turning power off and holding in buttons "0" and "1" while powering back up. Keep holding them in until it says factory defaults loaded.

How did you attempt to turn it off--which version chip is installed ?
To default it, turn power and service switches to off, hold down 0 and 1 key board buttons, turn power back on--watch display for "defaults message" Ron Rich

I did a complete reset , that did the trick. It is working as it should.
