I have a wurlitzer 3500 here which had a ton of problems but I finally got most of the mechanical issues out of the way to the point where most the time it picks up and places records as it should, I will tweak that later..... But right now the biggest issue I have is, as soon as the tone arm comes down and the needle touches the record it immediatly "rejects" the record and puts it back.... what would cause this ???
Thank you for the help

Hi Mike,
Going from my good, but not too long, memory---
Any of the "reject" switches (closed), and/or the cam motor--improper/lack of lubrication, or missing/poor brake pad (cork), can cause this-- Ron Rich

I got that fixed it was a stuck relay under the player ....... Now I have an issue with needles ....... I replaced the needle and I get no sound ..... Nothing hear able ..... Farting and poking around I eventually ruined it so I will order another one ...... Does the needle on this arm replace as easy as it looks ?? Just snap in ??? It don't track with the record when it's in just kinda lays in one place and the cartridge seems to be riding on the record .... What's going on here

Mike,
No needle,or a defective one, will cause "no sound"--I have no way of knowing which cartridge is installed in your machine--but in GENERAL, needles do "snap in'--somehow- Ron Rich
