Record changers which are as fun to watch as they are to listen to:
The follwing move the records around.
Any Lincoln or Fisher Lincoln changer.
Capehart turnover changers.
Seeburg selectomatics.
HMV Automatic Change Gramophone
Victor 10-50
Thorens TD-224
The following move the pickup arm in strange ways to find the record size:
The pickup arm touches the unplayed stack with the side of the arm:
Collaro Conquest, Collaro Coronation. Magnavox Micromatic
One Philips changer made in the 1970s
VM-1500
The pickup arm touches a separated record with the side of the arm:
Perpetuum-Ebner "Rex" series, PE-66
V-M 1555 and 1585
Thorens TD-224
Lincoln 50 (A roller on an extra arm does it, but in the sme way)
Wheels in the bottom of the pickup arm scan the top record on the turntable from the inside out as it rotates:
Dual 1003, 1004, 1005, and 1006
Luxor RT series.
A sensor on top of the pickup arm scans the underside of the record about to drop from the inside out as the pickup arm swings back and forth several times:
Miracord PW-9 and Miracord 90.
