Koronette RIO T-3

Hello - I recently moved into a house and discovered initially what I thought was a faux fireplace. Turns out it is a Koronette. I want to work on getting this thing working, I was hoping perhaps I could share the specs here and maybe someone could give me some tips. Right now, I can tell you that the fake fire logs do work, and when I plug in the audio system, the 8-track turns on and makes a humming noise, but no actual music from the 8-track. Here are the rest of the components:
Phono sonic radio
Generic record player
A really old cigar
