While it's very, very, rare that Seeburgs will "pop" off the track, they can be safely transported on their backs, IF, ALL of the shipping materials are properly installed. I have seen many units that were "on their back" that suffered no damage. But on the other hand, I have seen damage, which I can only assume was caused by laying the jukebox down--roughly? Most of the time the damage is limited to the arm that reaches under the record rack and supports the read-out sensor. I have also seen the main base casting bent, more than once. I have never seen any damage to a properly "bolted down" unit. I can remember only seeing one unit that was "off the track"--damage was extensive to the mechanism and cabinet. Ron Rich
