Early 1960s Magnavox Portable Suitcase Type Stereo

I am also looking for a Magnavox Portable Stereo record player. Im looking for models made from years 1960-62.
I am going to post a few pictures so you can get an idea of what I want. I got one of these units off of ebay
and some of the wires are cut, and I have never been able to use it. but the case is still in pretty decent
shape. It actually still has the handle and is very nice on the inside, so I thought instead of getting this machine
repaired the way I want it to work, Id be better off to buy a different one. I had a model similar to this one
except it was smaller and it was a tuble model. It was in a white case and a little bit easier to carry, but my
father accidently threw it away on me. I don't want to pay anymore than $100.00 plus shipping on one of these
units. If I found one around here, I would def pay $150.00 but shipping these things can be quite costly and
these units arn't as light as some people may think. I do want one in decent shape. The last two I bought
werent is so good of shape, but the first one was better than the second one, because I wasn't able to use
the second one at all. Normally these types of turntables just have plugs that plug into the jacks on the
amp. Thats how my white one was. I do want one where the volume will go up pretty loud. Well at least
loud enough to enjoy. I want one of these units so I can play my records in any room in the house or bring
it to someone else's house if I wanted to. I don't know how to fix these units myself so buying another one is
my only option. I also want to get my 1965-66 Magnavox Astro-Sonic fully restored. It is 1RP-656. Gorgeous Stereo
and cabinet. I will post pictures on it, under the pride and joy sectiion lol!! Of course as everyone knows I
am looking for the 1961 Magnavox French Provincial. I made a new account and made that my screen name
so everyone will know I am looking for that stereo!!

So, if anyone has a unit like this or know of someone who does please let me know. I am not looking for units
made in the late 60s or 70s. I am only looking for what I have pictured here.
