Hello: I have a Seeburg SMC1 Jukebox and it was working fine until one day I unplugged it and plugged it a couple of hours later and when it powered up it started in a all play mode where it went through every record front and back and I could not make any selections, it sounds like it is in all play mode and unfortunately I do not have a manual, if anyone has a remedy for this please let me know.

Thank You

If it is in all-play mode, place the Service switch in the normal position, and it should exit.

Tony: Thank you for the message but you are right it does have a service button but when placed in the middle it still will play every record front and back, like I said I do not have a manual but it seems like it is programmed to play constantly.

Check the MCU J5 pin 12 for a short to ground. That might be causing it.

Tony Miller: Thank you for answering my questions about the SMC1 jukebox problems, actually what had happened is I plugged in the unit but the plug was not in all the way and it came on and off real quick and when it came on again it went into an all play mode but after I cycled it through the complete rack of records it stopped after the last record and now it cleared itself and works correctly, not sure what actually happened but it is working now. I have one more question I need a manual for this box, or maybe some info to put it in freeplay or make it take coins for credits, if you have any answers for this please let me know.

Thank You

To put it into free play mode:

1. place service switch into service position and leave it there.
2. While holding the credit switch in the on position, enter '99' on the keybaord.
3. Release the credit switch, but leave the service switch in the service position.

To get back to coin mode, return the service switch to the normal position.

Manuals are available from http://www.alwaysjukin.com or http://www.victoryglass.com.

I have written a book about this system. If interested, check it out at:
