Two problems with a V-M 956.

Having some problems with this changer. First when I received it I was checking the arm set down and It was slightly off by a 1/8" then when I went to adjust the screw I realized that is far as it will go out to the edge of the record. After a tear down, cleaning reassembly and lube it still does it? And the other thing is it stalls in 78 and 33 and the turrets and wheel are still soft? Nothing is gummed up anywhere. Has anyone else ever had this problem with these Alliance motors on these VMs? The 45 speed operates fine.

Never the less, it's slipping. Doubtful it's the motor. More likely the motor mounts, tension spring, FYI soft does not equal grip.
Vinyl is disease which attacks that area of the brain desiring digital recordings. Once you catch it, you are cured.
