Anyone have a source for a new POT for a Seeburg MRVC-2 ?

I need one as well as a both plugs, the 7 pin for the volume and the 2 pin for the reject.

Also, anyone have a good schematic or is the one for the MRVC-1 the same.

James

PS my M100A manual shows the pot to be a Dual Ganged Potentiometer with one at 16K and one at 5K. Can anyone confirm this? Anyone have a photo of that POT?

The earlier RVCs used two dissimilar pots. As of the V-VL they use one dual tapped 25k-ohm pot.

New pots are available here: http://www.verntisdale.com/Seeburgpage.htm

I've bought several on these reproduction pots for retro locations. They are accurate. The only downside is that they only seen to come with the "slot" type of control shaft so a knob can not be used. With some effort, it might be possible to mount the taper into a knob type pot.

To wire it just trace it out via a schematic for your amp: http://www.verntisdale.com/Seeburgschem.htm

Rob,
That "problem" is easy to overcome--just dis-assemble the new pot, and cut the "slot" deeper with a hacksaw blade--
Easy--done a number of them-- Ron Rich

Can I assume that the internal and external POTS are identical electrically?
