Thanks Ron. i am not near the machine now. but we have a dummy plug that is 9 pins in this area. we have no accesories like the bill acceptor in it. it did not have all the correct bulbs in it at 1st but we have them now and we get NO lights at all (selection, more coins, etc). i was chasing down where the power comes from back to pin 5 in the manual. but appears to be on pin 4 and it is dead. i am trying to determine if the dtp1 is bad. i have the keyboard out and will be doing pin out continuity checks on it. i am in a rush because we will be heading to the Chicago show this weekend and i need to get a shopping list of the parts we may need. We are working on numerous jukes. Thanks Mark

Mark,
OK--when you get to the phono--let me know which "9 pin connector" has the dummy plug in it--

Darrell,
Is that the one on the DCC, or the one on the box, down near the service switch ?

Ron

It is below the service switch and mounted on the floor of the phono.

Ron: Thanks, i see it. the dummy is for the drit, this unit doesn't have the totalizer. until i looked at the block diagram i did not realize that is what it was abbreviated. The problem still remains though that no power @ pin 4 on the dpt1 and -27 on pin 5. then the plug connector for the lights pin 7 is dead. are pins 4 and 5 linked togather directly at the dpt1. or does the power flow run through the electronics inside of the dtp1, where it can be turned off and on? Thanks Mark
