Need parts-RCA Victor

by agift4allreally » Wed Apr 11, 2007 12:27 am

Hello, I am new at this and don't know how to locate parts. So far, I need three tubes-6CG7. I don't know a lot about the stereo that I have. I have a receipt which states that it was bought brand new in l962. I am anxious to get some help with this. Sincerely, Vanda

One place to try for tubes is a hamfest.

Tubes

There are plenty of places on the net for 6cg7. The 6cg7 is a dual triode used for preamps, tone control, phase inversion. In any case they are real stable and unless the filiment opens they work for ++++ years. Do you need a pinout? The 1st thing I change is Caps.

Good luck.
Dean.

I see those on ebay all the time, sometimes brand new ones even. Good luck, Ted
I love my RCA Model SHF-3
