Odd Switch M100A

Hi all,

To the left of the selector buttons is a small round push button switch. The wood case was drilled no doubt some time after the unit left the factory. It is old school white/cream plastic with a chrome/brass ring. The wires on the inside are cut off on the inside.

Anyone know what something like that would have been used for in the field ?

I need to do something with the hole, was thinking of using it for a switch for a free-play can.

Thanks, James

James--exactly what that "door bell" switch was added for --free-play--although I do not recommend it.

Funny that's what I did to my Rockola 425 very shortly after I bought it. There is a tiny little (way smaller than a doorbell) button snugged up under the down firing hidden light panel way on the left side. Nobody would find it, or I drop quarters for plays to keep that end alive.
