Rock-ola 435 selection issues

Hello all.
I am currently working on a Rock-ola 435 Princess Deluxe.
All selections ending in 1 or 2 will select intermittently when selected first while the juke is at idle.
If I select selections ending in 3 through 0 first and then select a selection ending in 1 or 2 they will select every time.
So far I have pulled the mechanism and cleaned the pinbank and all the wiper assemblies, contact relays and all cables associated with the keyboard and pinbank. Is there something I need to zero in on. Does anybody know what would cause this to happen.

Hi Toomer,
Check the write-in "hammer coil"--is it being energized when it fails to select ? Also check the "wobble plate coil" for the same thing--Off-hand, something tells me that the wobble plate coil can be adjusted for length of (mechanical) throw--It may not be pulling all the way--Also--near that coil there is ( or should be), a copper colored, "U shapped" spring, that often is broken--don't recall exactly what that causes, but it seems that it will cause the problem you have ??

In addition clean the reset and adr relay in the credit unit as they will supply the power to the write in hammer coil, but as above the copper u shaped ring in my experience is the usual culprit
the reason they won't select at idle but will select when the machine is operating is that it takes very little force or power to move the selection pin when there are already other selections made if you know what i mean

Thanks Ron and clones for the replies.
I took the pinbank back off and discovered that the copper u shaped spring was distorted so I replaced it with one I had on a parts box. Put it back in and nothing changed so I just walked away from it until this morning. I pulled the pinbank back off and after further inspection I noticed that the metal arm that comes from the inside of the pinbank that connects to the wobble plate coil was bent and binding the coil causing friction. I straightened the arm so there was no more binding, put everything back together and it is now working great.

Glad you found that ! My small mind boggles every time I find something like that ( all too often).
Reminds me of two kids, pointing fingers at each other saying "He done that---NOT ME !!"
