Wurlitzer 2600 not playing record

Hello,

I recently picked up a Wurlitzer 2600 jukebox. It has 2 issues with it. It was playing when I bought it with the except that a few selections would not play even though you heard it take the credit. The carousel did not rotate for the selection either. The latest problem after an evening of playing is the (what I call the record plunger) does move into the record to begin rotating it, but the second it moves into the record it retreats back into the spinning drum. Every once in awhile it will play the record, but now the plunger mostly retreats back. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have a manual coming, but that will take a week or so to get here.
Also, anyone know where I can find the lower blue strip in the top section that says Best Music Of The Week, or Top Ten Tunes, etc.?
