That sounds very good. Hopefully, some DD owners will reply.

In the meantime, I'm curious. Are the diaphragms made from cork stiffened rice paper, as was the case with the original DD diaphragms, or is this your own design?

I stuck to the cork/rice paper idea, but made some changes regarding the adhesive, and the method Edison used to attach the cord.
