What can anyone tell me about the Zenith Wedge, not the Allegro all in one wedge. But the mid 60's Bewitched, mono, portable wedge, with the VM changer. Ive only seen but a couple in my life, one on two different episodes of Bewitched, in the second or third season, one i actually had that was given to me and was MINT and had the paper turn table cover with instructions on it, and manual but it hummed, so it went ( I was pretty young), there's only one on you-tube, and his hums to (chronic issue?????), and ive seen just a few on eBay in the last 2 years. that's not that many....thanx for any and all help....=)

Patience is a virgin -- I mean virtue....

You mean like the one on this page?

(I couldn't copy and paste it because it's copyright protected.)

This would be the model NP15C or NP15P (don't know which) according to the Photofact for sale on eBay -- http://www.ebay.com/itm/ZENITH-NP15C-NP ... a278c050''

The one with the flat 45 spindle is probably not the one seen on Bewitched, unless it was seen very near the end of the series. The odious flat 45 spindle did not appear until 1967.

It might have been.... I just looked up Bewitched on the internet movie database, which despite its name, lists nearly every TV show ever produced. Seems Bewitched ran from 1964 through 1972.

See -- http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057733/

I had no idea it was on that long. I quit watching it when Samantha--or was it Endora?-- turned Dick York (Darrin #1) into Dick Sargent (Darrin #2).

By the way, I wonder if the OP spotted the Zenith "wedge" that was for sale on eBay a few days ago? I don't see it now, so perhaps it sold.

i knew it ran that long, i think it was in the 4th season.....maybe, don't quote me on that..=).

well there were 3 on eBay, one i posted the link to with its stand, that ended for a astounding $94.00!!!! Then there was one that was very nice with a BIN of 34.00 (which I bought, it was to nice to pass up.) Then there is one on now that was re listed, but let me send a word of caution for this particular seller. I had asked them abut its mechanical condition with the intent on buying it, and never received a response, the seller does not make it clear if it is working or not.....it seems like just because it "turns on" it "works" knowing those are to very different ideas, i asked to clarify the extent of "working" and got no answer....so i passed. Besides it is FILTHY and needs cleaned, and all the chrome trim is missing.....the one i bought was in 10 times better condition....

here are some pics of the one i bought, i was pleased after $34.00 to see that other one end for $94.00 and change...=)...

id rather have this one anyway, i Like the VM changer much better than the BSR that the one with the stand had, seems much more like a mid 1960's Zenith to have a VM.....the only thing i had to do was give the changer some minor service, and clean her up really well....and get a new needle (a given)

I'm glad you were able to find one.

The one you got is a real beauty. It almost looks like NOS (new old stock).
