I do not like two parts of the change:

- I absolutely hate websites where stuff changes as you move the mouse. It interrupts my visual processes, making it much harder for me to navigate. Please stop playing with toys to show your scripting prowess, and give us pages that don't blink like a pinball machine when you move the mouse.

- That goofy visual post verification tells me I am wrong when I type in exactly what is in the window.

@Record-changer:

Thanks for your feedback. I would like to know where you have problems with changing objects when moving your mouse. I will definately look into it and see if I can do something about it!

Regarding the visual posting confirmation; it should only be asked to people who have -not- registered or who want to post messages without logging in. If you are a member (like you) you should not get the visual confirmation box.

The visual confirmation has been re-introduced to keep the forum accessible for everyone, even people who don't want to register (or don't know how to register), however, the earlier version of the visual confirmation unfortunately let through too many spammers. The new one seems to work great, and we are once again receiving anonymous posts making the forum now accessible to everyone again.

Please let me know where you have run into the visual confirmation, I will sure check it out and fix it!

Last but not least; the scripts used are part of the new forum version. I really do believe it has many advantages (besides the most important thing; security) like being able to print postings and email topics to friends...

@Shane: Thanks!!!!!!

I don't think I've run into any problems with the new layout at all. I certainly haven't had anything winking and blinking at me.

Nor me either!

Marcel, I would add to Shane's enthusiastic vote - well done, it does look great and I look forward to this board picking up a bit where it has been a tad slow in the recent past!

Regards

Steve

It is the changing color as you move the mouse over the list of topics in each forum.

It was in the "contact us" menu when I wrote about the repeated changing of my email address back to the old one. I was logged in.
