Best eBay Jukebox Descriptions

by DoghouseRiley » Thu Jul 29, 2010 1:22 pm

I don't know if this will be of any interest to others, but some of the descriptions people use in an attempt to sell a jukebox, do amuse me.

For example;

"a lovely jukebox, nice sound and in dim light looks fantastic"

from this entry;

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LOVELY-AMI-60S-CA ... 335f7503ef

Perhaps if anyone finds more amusing ones they could add them to this thread?

I always liked worked (or ran) the last time we used it. What they don't say is that was 20 or 30 years ago before they put it in a shed with a leaky roof.

Seeburg pickering cartrige. I am not a jukebox guy, I know nothing about this item so please feel free to ask any questions before you bid. I got this item in a lot of pinball parts. Buyer pays $3 S&H. Thanks for looking

This guy always makes me smile.

He sells "restored" jukeboxes, though from some of the photos of his always over-priced machines, his idea of "restored" is a long way off mine.

This is his latest offering. It's obviously out in his yard, as his over-priced machines are all photographed in his garage or warehouse, whatever.

If he can't do anything with it, why does he think anyone would risk £250 to try to restore something with a rotted cabinet and an incomplete interior?

He has a feedback rating of only 85% on 51 sales.

That says everything.
