Rock-Ola 470, prolly minor problem ?

by RAMONES » Fri Jan 29, 2010 4:20 pm

Hey all !
After cleaning & oiling up my RO 470, I filled it with records (some of which I had to "dink") and I was off !
It works great, sounds great and is fantastic....
One minor (I hope) problem though...
The 45 RPM I put in carrousel nr. 104 never plays.
I mean : it turns round and looks for it, but seems not to find it, so it returns to starting position, as if it was never there. Credit is deducted though, just as it would have played.
The B-side (204) of the same 7" in the same slot works perfectly though...
I looked through the manual but didn't find any solution for this problem.
Anyone got an idea ?

RAMONES (still having 159 other options, but #104 hurts my feelings ;) lol

Does it play if you manually flip the pin?
Do that a few times and then try it selecting it again.

I'm no expert but that's the first thing I would do.
