I just purchased a voice of america 1229 record change. It has a loud hum when I plug it into my mixer. I've checked the ground leads from the stylus
to the output pluggins and they seem to be ok. Any ideas?

Try a seperate ground wire from the changer chassis to a case screw on the mixer.

If one or the other does not have a "polarized" AC plug (cap), try "flipping" one over in the wall socket. If someone has changed either AC Cap, it possible one is "backwards". Ron Rich

Gotta love that "made in china" crap.
