HI,
I am new to this forum. I'm doing a little research for a friend that just acquired a vintage turntable. The only marking he can find on it is the name Trans American. The stylus flips over. The speeds are 16, 33-1/2, 45 and 78. I cannot find any info online about the manufacturer. Can anyone offer any info...manufactuer...circa...etc?
Thanks in advance,
Bruce

Sounds like a generic "off brand" of sorts, because I've never heard of the company.
A phono would help.

Well,
Since Mattie don't know, It's my guess that you have a machine that was built for as a low-cost, store branded unit for a small store/chain of stores-- ?? Ron Rich

Thank you Matt. I'll see if I can get my hands on it and take a few pics.

Hi Ron (you've helped me on the jukebox forum a number of times!)
I'll see if I can get my hands on the unit and get some more info.
