Webcor Repair Service Needed in NJ/NY Area

I have a Webcor Musicale phonograph, Model # MT 1755-1. If anyone has suggestions on where to get it restored in the New Jersey/New York metro area, I’d greatly appreciate it. I live in Bloomfield, NJ.
The amplifier needs fixing (loud hum), the 78 speed doesn’t work, and I need a new cartridge+stylus.
Does anyone know if this model came with a fat 45 r.p.m. spindle adaptor for the record changer? Or is it assumed that I’ll have snap-in adaptors for my 45s (thus enabling the “Magic Mind” feature of the changer — which truly is magic). I’d also like to know which model # record changer the unit uses. I’ve been searching for service or instruction manuals for the unit, but to no avail.
Thanks!

Peter,
I live in Hoboken and own a Mahogony Webcor 1755. Do you have any contacts to refurbish the phonograph?
Thanks in advance.
Frank

The Webcor 1755 used the model 152 series record changer. It did come with a 45RPM automatic spindle adaptor. I think that I have a couple of those adaptors in my storage unit.
Philco used the same Webcor changer and called it the M-39.

I do restorations at the shop on all makes & models here in Philadelphia, but I'm backed up with work until January.
Seems a lot of people are wanting this lovely old stuff brought back to life.... a good thing.

The 152 changer has the Magic Mind automatic speed change. So it was intended that 7" 45 rpm records have spider adaptors inserted, so they could be intermixed with 10" or 12" 33 rpm records in the same stack.

Wow! This Webcor post has been up for over two years and all of a sudden I get four responses! I really appreciate the input though, so thanks.
To: Frankdds in Hoboken - I have had some work done already, but I'm not satisfied. I'll PM you.
To Brian: I bought a 45 RPM spindle adaptor a while back, but the changer sometimes stalls during the cycle when I use it. At first I though I had the wrong adaptor, but now I'm sure that the changer needs some more work - probably an idler issue, no? Thanks for the info on the changer model number. I've been able to get a Sams on the changer, but not on the unit as a whole.
To MattTech: I've been thinking about getting in touch with you for a while now on the "other" forum. I don't visit here that often since it's not as active, that's why I missed all these posts. I would love to get the Musicale in tip-top shape; right now it's about halfway there.
To Record-changer: Your website is why I own the Webcor, two Collaros and a Garrard RC 88. It truly changed my life. Yes, the Magic Mind is pretty nifty. I bought an old box of metal Webcor-brand 45 rpm spider adaptors. Wish someone had told me that, once inserted, those adaptors are not removable!
