Seeburg tonearm wiring question

by Homer » Tue Nov 26, 2013 5:44 am

Hi,I have a Seeburg R with the first seeburg stereo tonearm in it (T-needles).I want to double check my wiring. When facing the juke the 2 wires on the left are red and white, these are the 2 I hooked up.the other 2 are blue and black and these I soldered together and left unhooked. Is this correct.
Thanks

Homer, I wire them: Red-Blue (sig) and White-Black (gnd). This is parallel. Though the scheme you mentioned gives higher output, it doesn't cancel distortion from this mediocre cart and worn records as well as a pure mono connection.

Hi Homer,
I would have suggested you do it that-a-way, but Rob, beat me to it
