Hi,

I was at a local antique shop and a person has a booth with several phonographs for sale. I saw that there is a odd looking horn on his table, it has the look on the top, a tassel on it and it is a brass or gold color, the horn is about 10-12 inches long, and has a small opening at the end where it may connect to a phonograph.

The diameter of this horn is small maybe 4-6 inches.

Has anyone seen one of them and what would they go to.

It's probably impossible to say without looking at it really. It could be off anything from a car horn to one of many small cylinder & disc machines made.
Is it just a one piece cone, a cone with a spun flare, or a one piece spun horn that gradually flares at the end?

It might be from an early radio speaker, or it might be an ear trumpet (acoustic hearing aid).
