I cannot help but sing along very loudly - not sure why a jukebox has this affect but its just a beautiful piece of machinery.

Thank you to everyone who provided advice, especially Rob-NYC, Ron and Eddie.

Of course I have a question. Apparently my 6J7 tube is missing its "Grid Cap" - anyone know where I can get one (as I cannot find it on the usual websites mentioned on the stickies)

re: Grid Cap...I am a complete novice at tubes, so I very sorry what I am sure are such basic questions. I may be using the wrong terminology. Perhaps I should be asking about a "shield/cover"???

The tech who serviced my amp said this may help reduce the hum from the amp before the record plays.

Looks and sounds good, happy you got it going

Not sure if you need 6j7 grid cap however if you want one there is a seller on eBay that has a NOS with grid cap

I have seen a "million" or so that do not have it-never heard "hum"--Hum usually indicates a need to re-build it correctly !
