That's really astounding. It pumps out it a rich-sounding upper and mid-range, in spite of the machine's incorrectly shaped tonearm and horn--flaws inherent to the original design that were corrected with the introduction of the Orthophonic models.
I see from the description you posted on YouTube that this is a Diamond Disc diaphragm you designed. It reminds me of some of the experiments the late Bob Waltrip used to carry out some 20-30 years ago.
Did you mount the diaphragm using conventional rubber tube gaskets, or did you use Silicone caulk?
At some point, try it out on your Paillard phonograph. It should fit the tonearm without an adapter. The Paillard has a more exponentially tapered tone chamber, so you should hear more "upper bass," and more oomph. But even with the Victor horn, it sounds great.
