Rockola 490 Key Pad Won't Work

by delawarebuyer » Thu Nov 01, 2007 2:53 am

Hello everyone, I have a Rockola 490 that just stopped, the only dislplay lighted is the 100 on the Top Hits the keypad seems to be dead. :?: Will not let me select any numbers. Please help :!: Could a dead battery in the computer do this? Or if the computer needs repaired do you know where I can send it? Thanks for your kindness and time. Jim

I had the same trouble with my 490 , try moving around or unpluging and pluging back in the big white plugs with the colored wires going into them. The ones going to the key pad are the the ones on the right side on the top of the computer/pricing unit.
hope this helps

There are several things that can keep the unit from selecting records:

- No credit
- Stuck coin switch
- Stuck selector button
