Wurlitzer 2810 selections not played in order

by envg » Tue Jun 28, 2016 6:23 pm

I own a Wurlitzer 2810 fully restored. However, for awhile now when I play selections say 5 for instance. First selection plays the other 4 will play but not in the order they were selected. Thanks for any help

Well, why don't you axk the person who restored it ? If he knows what he's doing, he will " 'splain you" that it is doing egg-zact-ley what it should ! (Making a selection, on that phono releases a pin on the "electric selector". Once the pin is released, the mechanism searches for the released pin. IF, you happen to make another selection prior to the mechanism finding the released pin, and the mechanism finds the second one first-it will play first--unit searches in numerical order, only--and always has !).
