Missing pin on the accumulator ass'y of Rockola 408

by David R » Mon Jun 08, 2015 12:01 am

I'm trying to cancel out the free play that was set up on my Rockola 408. It's set so that the lock bar solenoid is always on. Is there a place that I can get the pin (I probably have a spring that will work with it) or can anyone give me at least the exposed length that it sticks out so that I can make one out of brass.

Thanks

David R

Hi Hildegard,
I am about 99.9 % positive that the pin you sell, fits all of the mechanical Rock-Ola credit units that have the pictured relay, installed.

Hi Ron,

You are right. I double checked the parts lists to compare Rock-Ola part numbers.
It was used first in their 1954 model 1446 up to 1966/67 models 432 and 434, but not 433 and later ones.

Thanks to all.

I had hoped to get the part stateside but will go ahead and order it from Germany. I'm still thinking about the other way of handling the situation by rewiring and requiring the letter select to be first but would still like to have the part on hand if I ever convert the machine back to accepting coins.

David,
Hildegarde is a very nice person to deal with ! Have no fear, she will treat you right !
AND--everything I have received from them has been a "perfect" reproduction. In most cases, I can not tell the difference from an OEM part --
