One of my customers posted this video of his restored Williams Music Mite.
It was nice of him to give me credit for the restoration.
These things are a bastard to work on, for sure, and this one was utterly corroded inside and out from age and neglect.
Some TLC, fresh paint, etc, and it lives again!
I thought I'd share this video with y'all.

I've only seen a few of those at shows, this is the first one that doesn't have noticeable wow and flutter.
Congratulations, an excellent restoration.

Thanks Rob.
I went over the whole box - the RCA changer got new motor mounts, idler, cartridge (Tetrad) and extensive cleaning, polishing, and lubed with PTFE SuperLube, along with a few of my secret "mods".
I like to get them running like a fine clock before they leave the shop.
The steppers (2) both got torn down, cleaned, re-lubed, adjusted. - also had seized solenoids.
Selector buttons got worked on too - rust.
Re-worked the 6V6 amp with NOS tubes, some customizing for sound enhancement, wires, etc.

The rusted-dented grille got straightened, re-painted with "gold leaf", along with the whole rusted changer and selection panel.
Some other details got taken care of too.
New number decals, a clearcoat over them... and done.
Customer happy.
