Hi All,
This is a warning--there is a current eBay offer of four sets of "Seeburg needles"--
The Red colored ones, are NOT Seeburgs, and should NOT be inserted into the Seeburg cartridge, as they are not the correct size, and will cause Ir-repairable damage to the cart !
( you can tell by the "rounded" edges of the plastic) I have informed the seller, and hopefully he will pull that offer--# 230757386785

Hi Ron,
I was the seller in that (closed) auction.
I would like to thank you and "jukeboxmel", by the information you gave me.
To show my gratitude for your gesture, I want to offer a pair of the Seeburg needles to you and other to jukeboxmel.
Btw, I am referring to the correct ones, not the reds!

jukeboxmel wrote:Yes, Ron is correct, the blue needles are the correct stereo stylus for the Seeburg jukeboxes. It is a common mistake to identify the ones that look close as the same type. I believe the red ones are the Pickering type 601-d7C they fit the pickering T guard cartridge, if you search the site voiceofmusic.com and search on pickering stylus you will see what I mean. If you lay the red one next to a blue one with the needle facing away from you, you will see that the red one is thicker and the sides are not as sloped as the blue one... hope this helps Mel

Nice to see an honest seller--sometimes people selling do not care--they just want to make a sale--It appears to me that you were fooled by someone who inserted those needles int packs marked incorrectly, as "Seeburg Replacements"--
I also noticed that you have other "Seeburg needles" on eBay--You show photo's of the blue plastic "L" type (sapp.) replacements ( Hurco), but no photos of the "150" needles? What do they look like, and do you know the needle size, and material ?

Hi,
I bought the full stock of an old electronic repair shop, that closed his doors 30 years back.
This includes hundreds of radio needles and tubes, the most parts are new in the box.
I don't have any knowledge in this area, I compare the descriptions with similar products on the internet.
I announced the red needles as original seeburg replacements, because the previous owner had them in Seeburg boxes.
Before your message, I didn't realized the diference in the corners...
Here are some photos:

There is nothing wrong with these needles.. they FIT any seeburg Cartridge that uses T needles.. the info you got was dumb...
...Now I'm really confused...
I will take some photos of the "150" needles of the other ad.

All I can tell you, is--that as an Authorized Pickering dealer, I was informed not to sub them for Seeburg needles, by Pickering.
It is true that they can be inserted into the cartridge, however, more force is needed to do so in a new cartridge.
